In Formed in 1966 by the amalgamation of three separate regiments, the heritage on display at the museum in Winchester is worthy of more than one visit.
The museum is regarded as one of the best regimental museums in the country. And we agree.
If you have not seen the (25 square metre) Waterloo diorama describing what happened on 18th June 1815, then we recommend that you do.
The touch screen Victoria Cross display gives you access to detailed information about the actions and personal histories of each of the regiments’ 59 Victoria Cross winners including medal groups of Major Billy Congreve VC DSO MC and Sergeant Bill Gregg VC DCM MM of The Rifle Brigade.
Visit the RGJ website for more information.
